How it all began…..

I have never been afraid of hard work. I started mowing lawns in middle school and developed a long list of very satisfied customers. When I graduated from Thornton Academy in 2018, I was eager to tackle more challenging projects. To gain experience, I worked for Shaw Brothers’ Construction. The days were long and hot, but the experience I gained was invaluable. I took on landscaping jobs on nights and weekends while I pursued my Engineering & Architectural Design Degree at Southern Maine Community College. With a used plow truck, some hand tools, a rototiller, and my classmate, Ben Grandy, I built a successful business. If we were not in class or studying, we were working. We started with smaller hardscaping projects and finished jobs that other contractors had abandoned. We were committed to showing up on time, working hard, and delivering a quality product at a reasonable cost. We both worked 60 hours a week during the pandemic when people were focused on home improvement projects. I invested in equipment and took on larger projects. We have been laying driveways, patios, and walkways for more than three years. Our customers are highly satisfied, providing five star ratings and such positive referrals that we did not need to advertise. We love what we do and have developed a solid reputation across southern Maine.
